Since its opening in April 2004, we are happy to know that the Maranatha Retreat House (MRH) has been a source of solace, spiritual nourishment and renewal for those who make their retreats there. We hope to continue not only to make the place and retreats as accessible as possible to all people of goodwill, but also to work towards maintaining and upgrading the house, so that it remains a conducive place for all who come.

To do that, much funds are required. Therefore, several fund-raising projects have been undertaken as well as personal appeals for contributions and pledges.

Many fund raisers have been organised and this year we are happy to share with you a cookbook of many time-honoured home recipes — “The essence of good cooking ”.

Launched on 16th July 2006, the soft cover is retailing at RM35 while the hard cover is at RM55. The cook books are available at the St Francis Xavier Church, 135 Jln Gasing, Petaling Jaya (tel. no 79565977), Catholic Research Centre (CRC), 5, Jln. Robertson (tel. no. 012-2637912) and at MRH, Janda Baik.

Besides that we have other souvenir items – T’shirts, Mugs, Book Marks which are available at MRH or CRC.
